Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to purchases from budget.bosonit.org. The seller is BosonIT LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. Contact: kacj77@gmail.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms, to our Refund Policy and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Products
Products sold directly by this store are digital files (for example spreadsheets, PDF and EPUB books). No physical item is shipped. Each product page describes what you receive, the file format and any download limits. Sample figures, screenshots and examples are illustrative. Budgeting and financial tools are general educational material, not individualized financial, tax, legal or investment advice.
Some listings may link to products sold by other retailers (affiliate links). Those purchases are made with the other retailer under its own terms, and we may earn a commission.
2. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax, if any, is calculated at checkout from your billing address and shown before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your order is accepted when Stripe confirms the payment. If a payment fails or is reversed, no download access is granted, or access is removed. We may cancel and refund an order if a product was listed with an obvious pricing error or if we suspect fraud.
3. Delivery
After payment is confirmed, your download links appear on the order confirmation page and are emailed to the address you entered. You do not need an account. Download links are personal to your order and may be limited in number of downloads or expire after a set time, as stated on the product page (for example, the Monthly Budget Audit Workbook allows 3 downloads within 7 days). Please save your files. If a link expires or fails, contact us and we will help.
4. License
When you buy a digital product, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use it for your own personal or internal business use. You may make backup copies for yourself. You may not resell, share, upload, sublicense or redistribute the files, or present them as your own. All rights not expressly granted remain with BosonIT LLC or its licensors.
5. Refunds
Refunds and replacements are handled under our Refund Policy. A refund ends download access for that order.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Apart from our commitment to replace or refund files that don’t work as described, products are provided “as is” without other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows. You are responsible for decisions you make using our materials. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BosonIT LLC’s total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that product, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. Please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly by email.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted when you place your order applies to that order.
